The role of exercise in chronic kidney disease (CKD) has been identified as a research topic that is important to patients and their caregivers. We are looking for people with kidney disease and/or their caregivers to help inform research in this area by participating in 3 online surveys during May-August.

What is the reason for doing the study?

The results of this research can be used to guide resource use and support funding for future studies on exercise in people with CKD.

What will I be asked to do?

You will be asked to complete three surveys. The surveys will be sent 4-6 weeks apart and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. It is important to complete all three surveys. You will be asked to provide your opinion on what the most important research questions on exercise in CKD are. There are no right or wrong answers.

Who is running the study?

Members of the Global Renal Exercise Group (G-REX) in Canada, The United States and Australia are carrying out this study. The aim of G-REX is to foster collaboration and to improve the quality of research on exercise in people with CKD.
