Researchers at The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute are looking for volunteers for an online survey about measuring quality of care in kidney transplantation.

The goal of this survey is to find out which measurements of quality are considered the most important for evaluating the care provided to kidney transplant patients.

Who is needed to participate in the survey?

  • People who have chronic kidney disease, are waiting for a kidney transplant or have received a kidney transplant
  • Caregivers of people who have chronic kidney disease, are waiting for a kidney transplant or have received a kidney transplant
  • Professionals (physicians, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals) who work with patients: with chronic kidney disease; waiting for a kidney transplant; who have received a kidney transplant

This survey, called a modified Delphi survey, will be three rounds. In each round you will be asked how important you think each measure is for determining quality of care. You will also be allowed to provide comments and suggest additional quality measurements. The survey will take between 10 to 30 minutes to complete.
