Job summary

The Can-SOLVE CKD network is a pan-Canadian network promoting patient-oriented research in chronic kidney disease. The network consists of a large and multi-disciplinary team across the country with a core operations team that supports the day-to-day activities of the network.

The activities and accomplishments of this network will benefit Canadians by promoting a cultural shift from care which is disease-centred and provider-focused to care which is patient-centred, informed by evidence, and coordinated across the health care system.

The Project Coordinator will work with the Executive Director on coordinating project work within the Network. This includes working with project teams to plan timelines, project budgets, track and report project progress, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and monitor progress to ensure teams are on track to meet milestones. The Project Coordinator’s main role would be to provide operational support to the Research Operations Committee, which performs annual peer-reviews on all projects under the network’s research program.

Can-SOLVE CKD is a national network; therefore some travel will be required, mostly within Canada. The position is a one year contract role, 5 days per week, with the possibility of renewal and extension subject to funding and performance.
